European Dutch ICP Light Registration works like a passport for your yacht. It clearly shows the authorities and border police who is the owner of the yacht and what the specifications of your yacht are.
If you request our EU ICP Light Registration, your vessel will be registered by the Royal Dutch Watersport Association. They have been apointed by the Dutch government to handle yacht registrations. Your vessel will however not be registered in the land register.The EU ICP Light Registration will be issued based on resolution 13 from the Economical Commission for Europe of the United Nations!

This procedure is a simplified type of registration that is accepted by all EU countries and is even mandatory in some countries.

If you do not have Dutch nationality or an address in the Netherlands, you can have yourself represented by our representative. We will then also offer you a domicile, so you can use their office address and, in this way, have a (mandatory) Dutch address after all.

PRICE for ICP Light registration

  

We offer you Dutch registration for all leisure craft, irrespective of a vessel’s value or age, for 350.00 €.
Moreover, the additional annual costs for the “Light” registration are the lowest across Europe, amounting to only 125.00 euros a year, but inclusive of both the required Dutch domicile at NL address as well as the required two-yearly renewal of the certificate of registry.

You are required by law to renew the document every 2 years. Of course, Yacht Registration Holland will also take care of this for you!

The “Light” ship registration is available for all sailing and motor yachts of a length UP TO 24 metres. Longer yachts require the “Comprehensive” ship registration.
